Mine says: The program can't start because X3DAudio1_7.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. I'm running windows 8 64bit. I've reinstalled twice and re-downloaded twice as well. Edit: That's when I click on the RenX icon on my desktop. If I click on the RenX launcher it pops up the main screen where I enter my screen name (do I have to register it?), and the options of watching the tutorial, Select server and directly connect, start in game menu, browse forums, and follow on twitter. The only button that works is watching the tutorial vid. The Select server button doesn't do anything and the start in game menu takes me to a server list but I can't join any of them. Double edit: The link you provided in a previous reply says for 32 bit only. What do I do for 64 bit OS?

Hey Elessar, good to hear from ya!! I'll be seeing ya in roughly a month. I'm not sure about any other CEO members coming back but it's drawn a lot of interest from tons of old players that I think we'll be seeing quite a few familiar faces!!

Old schooler here as well....always as Ballstein. Was in |CEO| and then ~BiO~ on gayspy then finally moved over to Westwood online or whatever it's called in '06ish. Played regularly from the demo days till '08-'09ish and then off and on since then. Fobby, found my way back to this site...apparently I haven't logged on since 2010. Good to see y'all working hard at this and it's finally about to be released. I'm stoked for it.

Is Driver Genius actually worth $30 for a year subsciption? I've never heard of this, but it would definately make my life easier since i'm a noobie with computers.

So i've owned UTIII now since like January and i've finally decided to try it out. I didn't play online or anything, just dicked around with some bots seeing if my computer could handle the game. Well it was pretty crappy. Kept on bouncing around, the game would stop, then start again....pretty much lagging around everywhere. My question is is there anything I can do to increase the performance of the game without buying a new computer. All I have now is my laptop....and I know I shouldn't play on a laptop yada yada yada but my desktop crapped out on me and I have no money to build a new one. My specs are: Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T7300 @ 2.00GHz 2 gigs of RAM Running 32-bit Vista Home Premium NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS DirectX 10, enough disk space, updated drivers.
