    Yeah they should have an alt-fire that does that, but takes considerable time to recharge.

    Yes there should be a portable Lazarus device for $$$$ or crated that makes the holder stealth or you can stick it to a vehicle to turn it stealth.

    This whole thing is so cool and exciting.  I have faith the developers will polish and straighten everything out in due time.  I think this add-on will be significant in showcasing this style of team gameplay.

    Just for fun, if we're putting the cart before the horse, and making requests, how about maps with a Mutant Forgotten faction, similar to Nod vs BH?  The mutant infantry would be so badass, rolling deep in armoured yellow buses and ambushing cavalry with tricked-out construction and farm vehicles.

    What about the GDI medic?  Can she be modeled after Dr. Boudreau?  What about Nod?  Can they get a Black Hand Confessor unit modeled after young Marcion?  Just fun ideas.

    I had hoped together we might discuss the importance of moving command functions to players.   Even an argument about the need for command powers to climax protracted battles would have been fun.     ah well.

    you dear thread and I both know that true gaming freedom lies in the abilities given to ALL the players....   but maybe it is too soon for  others.............

    Players vote freely to form an ad hoc squad, or takeover leadership of squad to Attack enemy / Defend own:

    Structure (PP, REF, WF/AIR, BAR/HON...)
    Harvester
    Or beacon would be manually placed by squadleader for these default placeholders:
    "Field"
    "Tunnels"
    "Flank"
    "Base"
    Other position

    Squad beacons show up onscreen and HUD similar to commanders.

    Additionally, under commanders, players may be forced to fall in to the C&C style [numerical] groups led directly by commanders (squads), with roles selected and changed by commanders:

    1 Alpha (cavalry typ heavy) default defend own Field
    2 Bravo (light support) default defend own Tunnels
    3 Charlie (Scout, skirmisher) default defend own Flank
    4 Delta (special ops) default attack enemy base
    5 Echo etc...

    I mean, there were the catastrophic effects on lifestock mentioned in Tiberium Dawn.  I'm sure that a lot of agricultural crops also became contaminated in the red and yellow zones.  Fish and aquaculture might last a little while.  Greenhouses dot the landscape in Tiberium Sun.  Probably got harder and harder to get a hamburger.  I'm sure most of humanity pivoted to hothouses and hydroponic farming as they evacuated to polar regions.  If you can't eat, you can't survive, let alone fight.  It's all a very grim outlook, that's why it's probably a good idea to keep Earth healthy.
