Welcome Back Commander !
I can't finish 2019 whitout a little gift for the Renegade X Community ! here is the stable/public version of CNC-Steppe
This map take place in Egypt fews days after the end of the First Tiberium War. Nod will fight to protect one of the last Temple in the name of Kane.
This is a medium size map with basics defences, 4 Turrets for both teams in front of their base, and 2 guard towers to protect the secondary base etrance.
Both teams have a Silo and a Repair pad as well.
(Special Thank to Madkyll for the Minimap) and others who helped me and gave me tips.
[HOW TO DOWNLOAD] ---> replace the "UDKGame" file with the CNC-Steppe one

The map is actually running on T.O Custom Map Server if you want to test it.
I don't put an download link here because I think the map isn't ready yet for that. I still need to make some things on it. 😋

Hello Renegades, I'm curious to know how you guys imagine a Contruction Yard in Renegade X should work.
We have already seen a Contruction Yard in original Renegade, this building was able to repair other buildings slowly, giving them life little by little.
But to my eyes there is probably something more interesting to do with that building.
I started to work on a CY for my next map, it still need some polish of course, also the interiors is not finish too 😛

Honestly, that stacking thing makes me bored of the game.. I still love it of course, it's probably my favourite game ever, but sometimes when i just want to forget my day and playing, i can't because i always get fucked by a group of powerfull players.. that's really frustrating 😓
I mean, i had a good aim level before, but for certain person that's need to play the game everyday to keep that level, and i don't necessary have the time for it, and that's the same thing for a lot of players
I tried to initiate 2 friends of mine on the game, and they leaved because it was impossible for them to play, they said something like : wtf is that cheater game
And i want to say that I don't attack anyone with that message, i just share my feeling.

I think this game had a chance to make know C&C Univers with a different type of games, and i think that the C&C Univers (tiberium) still can interest peoples and be a real big know univers, but not with RTS games, im sure that a AAA Tiberium game with a good story can interest a LOT of peoples. Like a FPS/Story game or RTS, Like Tiberium, i hope to see that one day, but the chances are low i guess....

A desert map taking place in Egypt fews days after the First Tiberium War
Map informations :
CNC-Steppe is a small map whitout advanced base defences.
Both base are defended by 4 anti tanks turrets and 2 Anti Infantry Guard Tower.
No Flying map and no techbuildings.
GDI and Nod have a team silo and a repair pad facility.
The map has a Tunnel system with which you can acces to all important map spot like the Infantry Tunnels, Field, Tiberium Cave etc..
