i don't have antivirus on this computer. could anything else affect the download?

I tried to download the game, but the launcher is telling me that i don't have any valid mirrors. what do I do?

does Renegade X work on a 64-Bit os? and if so, are any extra steps in the installation required?

My system req's are: processor: intel pentium dual cpu t3400 @ 2.16GHz RAM: 3 GB windows vista 32 bit

i installed the game, ran the game, the opening scenes played, then on the loading screen the game crashes. please help
