Shephard
Good morning, Does anyone here have the technical know how to create a Pterodactyl egg for Renegade X. Our community has a server rack, and would love to host a Renegade X server for the North American region. Our server has 2x Intel Xeon 3.9Ghz cpus, 128gb DDR3 ram and 3x 1TB SSDs. If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated. Thank you, Shephard
Totem Arts Staff Cronus Posted November 11 Totem Arts Staff Share Posted November 11 We've had a few attempt a Docker install of RenX Server, with very little success. We do want an Egg eventually, but lack the resources to dedicate fully to figuring one out that doesnt run old outdated software or is so chunky it doesnt work all the time. I will let you know, You're Xeons are likely not strong enough to run a full 64 player renx server. We've had to resort to High single core CPu's such as Ryzen 5000 Series or 7000 series. Think 5900x and 7700 etc. What Xeons specifically do you have? I know DDR3 is too old to run big servers for renx.
