mortalc13
Hi i recently downloaded this because ive been a fan of westwood games ever since C&C95 but after i first installed it the game crashed at startup, so i watched a few youtube videos to tweak the engine ini files for initializing shaders set to true. This works for getting passed the videos and the menu but when i go to start a new game whether it be skirmish or online the game crashes before the level loading screen even appears. any suggestions, here are my 3 most recent logs: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2Z8GZ ... sp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2Z8GZ ... sp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2Z8GZ ... sp=sharing And thank you for your time! Canucck
Try starting the game and joining a server without the launcher being open
mortalc13
It's funny because the launcher doesnt even start. i double click and the busy cursor pops up but then disappears and doesnt show up in task manager. I tried using a different monitor and it solved the problem. My old monitor had a resolution of 4:3 and my new one has a resolution of 16:9. Dont really know what caused it to crash with the old one but glad i got it fixed thanks for the reply though just shows that there still are people who support this! HuggyBear
I have the exact problem. I came to the conclusion that my system is not powerful enough to handle the game. Based on your specs, you may not have enough RAM to run the game properly. I don't know. Not even sure what the recommended specs are to run this game, I can't find them. I can only find outdated information.

HuggyBear
@Canuckk; Can you share your specs as you seem to be able to run this game at least decently I suppose? I just wanna compare as I'm trying to upgrade my system to be able to play it. Thanks
Canucck
I'm not a good comparison because I have pretty much everything on low or turned off, but.. (by choice, not because the game runs bad for me) W7, GTX970, i5 2500k, 16bg ram, 512gb ssd, res 1080p Edited November 28, 2015 by Guest
