Can't change skirmish settings

Just like the title says, I can't change the settings on the "game" tab for skirmish.

I can move the sliders and actually "change" the settings there, but it won't apply ingame.

For example, right now when I try to play the Whiteout map I can set it to varying amounts of bots, skill level, change creds, ect.

However, when I actually start the game, there's no bots, no starting creds, or anything like that.

For the rest of the maps, it stays with the default and nothing I change in the game tab applies when I start playing.

I'd just do a work-around with the console but the bots behave oddly for me when I do so (all GDI stays in base, all Nod goes out and attacks, and GDI almost exclusively purchases MRLS's O_o).

I have tried the old-fashioned uninstalling/reinstalling deal, but that's it. I don't know what else to try for this game.

So does anyone know what's going on?
