"File is corrupt" when i open "RenegadeX-open Beta-2a''

Hi, I don't speak very good English...

I was download beta 2,

I have un problem, when i open "RenegadeX-open Beta-2a'' he said me "File is corrupt" (and the name of window is "Ectraction Failed".

I unistall beta 1 and i want to install beta 2...

Help me please

I can't install this version..

I keep getting "File is corrupt" notifications.

I've tried 2 different torrent sources (tpb and kickass)

And I've tried a download mirror twice.

Both result in "File is corrupt" after the installation is about halfway (not the extracting)

Check the file size. This happened to me 3 times. It needs to be above 2.4gig.

I'm having this error as well. My file is 2.4 gb, and goes through the extraction process, only to stop with the error.

I've tried 2 different sources again but the same effect.

The file size is 2.34 gig every time I download it..

Does anybody have any other ideas?

Someone could probably just directly give you the files required to launch the game if re-downloading didn't work, although there'd be no guarantee that giving you the files (without the installer) would work either.

I've updated the drivers for my Netword Card but that didn't work either.

For some reason the downloads are still corrupt.

Does anybody have any ideas?

Ok you are not going to believe this.

After :

- Trying a ton of mirrors.

- Updating my network card drivers.

- Resetting my router to factory settings and losing several port forward settings etc.

- Digging trough my network card settings.

- Searching all over the internet

I tried one last thing, a different cable.

That worked.. I haven't been using this cable long but for some reason it was the reason for my corrupt downloads.

Sometimes it's the simple things. I once was using a cat5 cable on a gigabit switch and was getting terrible lag. Switched to a cat6, bingo! all fixed.
