Thanks that helped. The permissions were not the problem, I had 6 lines of code that set startfire to a key.
I had one line that set backspace to keyboard key startfire, how that happened I do not know.
Deleted all 6 lines after I made a backup of file than played game now it works the setbind command.

After the last update 5.391 I had to reset my key binding again and now the command "Setbind" has stop working.
I have has this same problem before after an update but do not know how I fix it. It just started working again.
Thanks for any help on this.

For nukes and ions give each map a certain number of beacons (5 to 10).
This will keep teams from chaining beacons together for the entire map like on map Snow.
Also give the Commander the option to buy more beacons with CP.
Also maybe give Commander or team the option to ban beacon use like with mines.

So on map Under:
Under
- Removed a tankblocker inside a rock near the GDI Outer Route / Base Entrance
- Blocked off the rocks behind the GDI Refinery / Power Plant
This new patch 5.381 blocks MRLS from getting on top of rocks and shooting tunnel by GDI pp but Nod can still use an arty to shoot Nod tunnel by pp.
So GDI can't but Nod can!

No edited on any config or permission. Just did a "Game Reset" for launcher and try the setbind. This time it worked but I also saw there were
more options in settings. I think something went wrong during the update.
Screenshots works but still if I hit F5 and try a screenshot it will not work.

I even try this:
setbind startfire backspace
Not one of them worked. Also screenshot F9 will not work if I open up the command line with F5. It will not do a screenshot!
I can do F9 if I do not have the command line (F5) open.

After 5.380 update the setbind command has stop working. I use it to bind the "startfire" to a key but it worked before the update but after it has stopped working.
I will not work on any key tried.

When will the Nod Tick Tank get an coaxial MG? It already has the graphic for it on the tank .

I get the "Run out of Video Memory" on all maps. I only get this error after about 15 to 30 minutes of game play.

How do you select a person to kick, by name or number. Because if I do name or number it is random person.
Update: Just try to kick me, I was #3 in menu but it try to kick someone else.

The kick vote menu does not work at all. You still cannot select the person you want to kick.

When you start a game with the RenX Launcher which version of the game does the launcher start, 32bit or 64bit?
If it only starts the 32bit version can a switch be added in Launcher settings so you can select which version 32 or 64.

How do you use the Kick Vote Menu. Al I see in the menu is numbers and players but no way to select a player.

Log Files : On this Log I played for 5 minutes before crash - Launch-backup-2018.02.04-20.23.29
On this Log the game crash in the first 7 seconds - Launch-backup-2018.02.04-20.26.31
Only the 32 Bit side crashes with the "Ran Out of Video Memory" error. No crashes on the 64 Bit side and I played
all day.

The game has become unplayable with the 5.3 update. I get maybe 5 to 10 seconds playing time before the game crashes with the error "Ran Out of Video Memeory" It does it in Skirmish and Server play!

From the start of ver 5.3 I have had over 12 crash errors "Ran Out of Video Memory". On Feb 2 2018 I have had 5 crashes.
Any help for this, had the same problem 2 ver. back.

Both the 32bit, 64bit side and Launcher do not show any servers at all.
Update: Restarted my computer still no servers. Will now do a reset of game

Thanks that fix it. This is the second time I've had a problem with libvorbis.dll

RenX 32bit side will not start gives me an error that "Renegade X\Binaries\Win32\libvorbis.dll" is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. The 64bit side will run. Any help on this other than reinstalling the game again because I have had this same problem before.

Thanks for the info. The way the game installs is totally new to me. The last time I install it was by an exe file and not by a msi installer package.

The game is running now without that. The installer never did install it, wait 2 hours plus. So do you still need it to run the game?
I have the file 'UE3Redist.exe" now, do I just install it has is and will it install in the right place?

Had to re-install game today. Downloaded game install, ran the game installer but at the end it said it need to install something called UE3Redist. When it try to install this UE3Redist the install stay at 0% for over 2 hours. It never did install. Do I need this UE3Redist?

I still get the old errors "Out of Video Memory" when using the 32bit of RenX and "No sound bug" with the 64bit Renx.
Now my new one is at end of game map change I get booted out of RenX back the launcher. It does not happen all the time.
