Still the same error message. Am I the only one having this kind of difficulty?

I tried the main 2 servers that had players in it. The others were empty but I also tried the Blackhand bot and the different bot servers. Same result every time.

No problems playing the game yesterday, today when I join a server I get:

Im updated to 5.29.

Wow.. tried it on another PC. It starts but before the loading screen starts, it says Ren x has stopped working. lol

Is it the same crashdump error message when you exit out of steam and then load up Renegade X?

renegadex is only 32bit

It should work on win 7 64bit right.

Nothing works

reinstalled directx and the net frameworks and the redistributables... multiple different settings.

I think it's 32/64 bit related.

I fixed my Steam and used another installer.. still the same message

Also; my Win64 map is empty.. is that normal?

I reinstalled it twice already. I did come up with a possible solution..

I tried playing another game (pirated) which uses steam.api to redirect around Steam. My firewall deleted that file and I got the same message as shown by Renegade X.

Maybe the steam files from Renegade X got corrupted or removed during the installation by my anti-virus.

I'll try to use another installer and deactivate my virusscanner.

It is not possible to verify game caches from non-steam games. So it's not a solution for Renegade X I'm afraid.

My Steam is fine. Even tried running Renegade X through Steam.

It just wont start and do anything. Very strange

and the UDK.exe doesnt work aswell
