Hi there, I was eagerly working with the SDK until I was not able to start it anymore... keeps crashing (Build with UDK - error) I reinstalled it 5x times plus registry I even reinstalled my graphicdriver but still... here is mycrash log.: Also shortly before it was crashing it said inside the UDK: cant find RenX_Game and RenX_Info.
  3. @Henk dont worry about that I think I ve found a kinda solution to this...and yes I m using Sub Painter.
  4. @Ska Ra looks really nice and sticks very much to the original...only the "X" of the RenegadeX header looks kinda cheap and not fitting.
  5. adding detail from the concept art to the voxel shaped model wouldnt intterfere with the classic look and feel of ra2 I think it will greatly improve the look cuz I m just limited to bump maps not geometry and its tricky to pull something nice of when the geometry details are missing.
  6. @Ska-Ra Allthough I find your adaptation of the voxelmodel quiete well done and feelslike the ingame mirage tank but unfortuanetely you missed many details which are seen in the concept art: there is also a really good version made by "EpicTones" on DeviantARt...check it out: I will try to make it more like this i guess... what do you think?

  8. hey guys...metamind here. I guess we all had a busy time recently...so I'm working on the mirage tank right now but its not ready yet to show everybody but its 70% done I think. Will post as soon as finished.
  9. Thank you both for your suggestions. I was only in charge for texturing...but I also think the middelsection should be bulkier. This is also only the base texture map...I will add some more details later on.
  10. Made some progress with texturing the patriot launcher...still not final though...tell me what you think.
  11. Hmm I really think it would look better with a middelsection attached to it...making it only via colouring would look unprofessional
  12. I dont know... I saw the other picture too but the pic I posted looks better to me... more detailed etc.
  13. @Ska-Ara I think the patriot building does not match up with the original RA2 Patriot... there is a blue middle section on the rocket launchers plz remodel/carve it out...also on the top there is some kind of cooling shaft which is missing on your models. look: Fix it then send me the updated file... or in the mean time you can give me the powerplant model

  15. @Ska-Ara Yes I ve TS also I m german speaking so no language barrier there. @hm shark: your model looks sweet. only the top coil bubble should be slightly bigger and the smallest ring next to coil bubble is a bit to high...you should tight up the rings anyway a bit...other then that great work! Regarding the Grant Cannon... I absolutely loved it in RA2 so it should make its way to RenX... wouldnt be to hard to make anyway... basic turret shooting projectiles is in RenX already!
