Hmm, that I didn't know. How can one activate it? Command or is there a button that is hidden somewhere on the screen?

Good luck muting that one raging player when half of the server is taking part in the bullying/complaining.
I think that an ignore button should be added. This way you can deal directly with whoever is annoying you without hurting the already fragile playerbase ( if we were to be really strict with rules and ban accordingly...the already small playerbase would become atleast twice as small )

Was a nice guy - we really need a second commander though. Basically, the team that had Boxes won.

IMO it reminds me of Lakeside but it isn't Lakseside. The map seems interesting.

It was Chlenix the one that planted it but im not sure if he did it willingly or not though ( he tends to plant beacons in weird places).

Sometimes I like to sit with a Stank behind a building that is usually infiltrated ( ex: ref and pp on walls) just to run over unexpecting hotwires while they are disarming the mines. Bonus points if they do an infantry rush on these buildings ! All that while imagining im Jaws.

Good PUG. I think GDI needs a slight nerf though ( GDI seems to dominate Nod when both teams are really good ).

Pug was good.
Tunnels had really good vehicle warfare indeed (for both sides).
Complex was pretty much a massacre of Nod.
Under was somewhat interesting. Nod had the field but GDI kept poking Nod's base through tunnels and pipeline route ( I think this is how GDI kept up in veterancy with Nod).

Have a Advance Engineer retain access to the Advance Repair Gun, and has access to Proximity Mines. However the Adv Engineer only has access to a Silenced Pistol for self defence, and does not have access to Remote C4 and only a single block of Timed C4
You then have a new class, whom I'll refer to as the Commando class, who has the Heavy Pistol, and multiple Remote and Timed C4. But does not have access to Proxy Mines. The Commando can either not spawn with a repair tool, or spawn with a 'free' repair gun that has a low ammo pool akin to buying a repair gun.
+1 Seems like the most fair solution.

May set this to be a 3-4 minute delay so they will still happen in the mid-game, but early game rushing will be pushed towards the mid-game.
Will crates disappear or the crates will do something else in the first 3-4 minutes?

First match was good. Second one seemed ok too - had to leave in middle of it due to a slight emergency (apologies for that). Pug was balanced and there weren't many complains (atleast on our side). People actually worked together. ( +1 to Kryp's custom made "armor" at the start of the Field round ).

maybe this can be resolved by a chat system int he launcher, something that could connect to an IRC channel, it would show how many ppl are in the lobby and we could organize a game

For me this PUG was ok, but again I have the feeling some players need to understand the commanders orders more. When we did a multi nuke attack I donated a teammember cause he asked explicitly for money for a nuke. Than he arrived at the enemy base without one and I was like: "How?" Seen stuff like this happen more often. I can understand this is PUB behavior, but for a PUG it shouldn't happen unless you are named General Havoc
I was the one who asked for money for nuke...bought nuke and just before i could enter in the GDI base with Jpj (we were both sbhs) we got ran over by a random apc returning. I lost 2 nukes in that try...first one was lost when Yosh said "lets go for pp and plant c4 inside "( i did that in the hope we would of gotten it down) and the second one was lost due to the random apc. After that I heard people saying they need sbh for extra cover so went in the GDI base to help with that cover.
The pug all in all was ok. Bit too much of a fuss with team changing / team balancing though ( not sure but I think there were some calls for uneeded balancing at a point ).

At the moment, I think the communications center is too powerful. It also changes the behaviour of players, in a way which I don't think suits the game - on Field for example, often 2-3 team members camp the CC, which nobody ever does for the silo. Means less people concentrating on focusing on the actual target - to destroy the enemies base.
How about this idea: Every 15 seconds, it reveals all enemy units on the minimap for 3 seconds. This way, the CC could still be a useful asset, but it won't be a total must-have anymore.

The installer worked like a charm on my Windows 7 lappy. Was quite fast aswell.

My thoughts on this? I see this thread as unnecessary.
Both servers are protected so they both should keep their "protected" mark in the name.
Also, players are free to pick to play on whatever servers they want and they will do so. Even if youd remove the "ddos protected" mark...youd still see people playing on a different server than the MP one or w/e server you consider is good playing on.
Honestly, id say lets stop with this thread. I mean no offense, but if i was to host a server on which id try to setup ddos protection in the free time that I have and I would see this kind of thread...I would get bummed and rather unappreciated. That is something you do want to avoid in a community where the regulars can be pretty much counted on the fingers.
Kudos to Cronus for doing what he is doing , that is to be appreciated but do not forget that Bong also works on it (in the free time that he has) and he is also guiding other server owners to make their own protection.

I was the one that told you " I hate you"...but I kinda tell that to about everyone. Don't take me seriously, I like to mess around with people (I still hate you all :< ).
About the exploit thing....as far as I know it is allowed...just like stanks getting over the GDI wall on Whiteout. I admit that I used both of these things .
P.S. : Don't be afraid to tell me to shut up directly (im a bit too noob / stupid to get subtle messages so is best just to tell me to STFU ). My apologies if I do talk too much / disrupt the pug events though ^^.
