It's a known bug, but it's not game-breaking by any means. So it's not exactly a top priority.
It works just like always, it's just invisible to only you.

Very high settings and all effects enabled on that budget card + CPU probably won't do it.
Why wouldn't you just lower some of the settings to get a stable framerate...!?
I ran RenX in Ultra on an Intel Pentium and a GTX 660 perfectly fine, and ever since Beta 5 I can't get above 30 FPS on an i7 4790 and a GTX 770.

Really nice to see a completely new look to a map aka no more Snow/Grass/Woods/Mountains/Rocks
Much prefer the map at day time.

Possibly have both a Day and Night version just to keep the scenery a little less repetitive? I'm not sure how long that would take, but I think it'd be a cool thing to have.

Even if the owner attempted to make a miraculous comeback, he'd be trying to revive a graveyard.
Of course, there's a long and complicated answer with bitching and drama involved, but the clan essentially split into a few different groups, and the ones who stayed with Matrix watched as it fell out from under them.

Either way, I think that this could quite possibly be a good opportunity for clans to get themselves back on their feet, without the stress of a server.

As of now, no, Renegade X doesn't support Mac OS. Even if it did, it generally wouldn't run very well, so you're better off with Windows anyways.

I really don't think you should be fighting with a developer about a community you know pretty much nothing about.

_error_ has been beta testing the game before it even got released. He knows what he is talking about.Key word in there is community.

This statement is actually so bad it's funny. If your statement was even remotely comparable with the current situation, what would all the other servers be? what would Renegade X be? You can't just replace an amputated leg which was removed to prevent further spread from a deadly infection. Why do legs have to be amputated anyhow? hmmm...

Yes EKT is protected as well, but we don't see the need to advertise it, in fact it's extremely shameful for any community to attempt to profit from DDOS attacks and we stand with all communities that have been affected.
Protection from DDOS attacks involves stopping them from breaching the server. EKT has gone down all day every day for weeks. Currently CT is the only server capable of stopping the attacks, and you shame it for being offered to you, as long as you don't enforce your community upon it?

Some people want to build up a community for Renegade X, some already does and you really ask them to just shut down their servers and join your "community"/server? I think, you just want the players. You say you got the most working DDoS-Protection from all. So why not share it with others? If you want to save the community and bring peace to all, share your Protection to other server owners, instead of telling all to shut down their servers.

I'm seeing a whole lot of "Save the communities, not the game!" responses. You're trying to save a community while the entire foundation it was built on, RenX, is falling apart at your feet. You're basically trying to hold a house together while there's no foundation underneath. If you're really more worried for your community, why are you still here? You're obviously not going to help here because this game isn't the thing you care about.
You're being given what you need, and turning it down because you can't slap your logo on it.

Then I wonder why in RTS games Obelisks don't attack aircraft because they should just like Scrin Storm Columns.

Obelisk is the best orca killer there is, it must tottaly stay, in fact a agt and ob on lakeside, walls, and whiteout would be great.
No offense, but the ideas I see you pitch all the time are mostly ridiculous.
There is only 1 map in the entire game that has flying and base defenses, before eyes their was none. That is what was ridiculous and so are you
. BTW whiteout, ALA hourglass had base defenses in the original ren.And hourglass was one of the worst maps to ever come to Renegade. Plus, somebody is already doing a remake of it.

I do, however, need to point out - ORA does change some balancing. Some units/structures have different requirements to be built than they did in Red Alert 95.

Renegade X uses a ragdoll effect for infantry deaths, resulting in the body becoming like a giant blob of jelly (weird way to say it, I know), so it basically just sort of flails about when you die.

If you don't add them from the skirmish options button, open the console (F5) in game and type "addbots" with no quotes.

Well, based on the fact that this game is in BETA, and yet you're pissed like it's some AAA title released by a huge corporation. You can't expect the game to be perfect, which is why it CLEARLY says beta in the download title. It's buggy, deal with it. Just because you die from something odd, you can't immediately spam the chat with bullshit against the player, because I would've muted you too. I've seen plenty of C4s go off without any sound or animation, it's not perfect.
Honestly, I don't want a player like you trying to advertise this game at all, seeing as you die ONE TIME questionably and you act as if this community and it's player base were spawned by Satan himself. Ever heard of !modrequest or !requestmod? Those are advertised on both TmX and EKT regularly, and are a way to solve problems without any bumps. Use some maturity next time you try a new game.

I honestly like the weather feature, it's really cool how you can create dynamic environments. The map has made great process, and it's the most unique one I've ever seen. The creativity and custom effects are awesome to play with. I'll be testing 0.0.5 later.

I don't see it being too big of an issue for basic infantry at least.

I hate the airdrops honestly. It's kinda useless to blow up the building now, because it usually ends up as the team without the wep/strip camping with JUST barely enough vehicles to drag the match out. What's the point in having one if you can get vehicles delivered anyways, even at the extra cost? When it's a camp match like that, most people just want it to end.
