Hi guys,
I convinced two colleagues to play ren x and they love it, but a lot of times its still impossbible to join a game.
The servers are there, the latest version installed, good internet connection, but nothing happens when clicking "join server". Also when refreshing the servers show up pretty filled, all good, but nothing happens when trying to join a server. Also when entering a server through the launcher it just loads to renegade x main menu, thats it.
Is this a regular thing?

Turn you settings to lowest and your resolution also, about 800x600.
If that does not work, you maybe need a faster card.

Hi guys,
In order to get more people to Renegade-X I want to incorporate an AWESOME Renegade-X rendering in my unique Kickstarter on a high-end hyper-realistic-rendering course. Already I have different blogs with over 100.000 followers backing this project!!!
Does anyone have a Renegade-X model for me? Or can I find them somewhere in the RenX folders?
Been playing Renegade since it came out and it really deserves a showcase.

Do I need to modify the root files in UDKgame/Config? But wherre?
This was possible with the old ren and so much fun

Hi guys,
I tried following the instructions from OP.
When I unzip the wrapper Renegade X 0.2.app.7z I get the error: Could not extract the resource fork for the file "Renegade X 0.2.app.7z". The file could not be opened.
When I click continue it goes on and installs the game, but when starting Renegade X it fails and gives the UDK-error: The program UDK.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close.
What to do? How can I read a .log file?

Hi SFJake,
What I am implying is that very cool still images can be rendered for promotion purposes! Images that capture the unique feeling of the game in a still shot. Ingame the UDK engine looks awesome already, yes.
On the facebook page you see some examples of rendered images:
Why not make some more? If the game is being developed even more (b3), why not develop some more cool artwork?

yes, this game is awesome, been playing it a lot. the best thing is that it feels like the old renegade + the udk engine is solid. I love it.
my question: who do I need to get in touch with to contribute really photorealistic renderings for this game? The renderings can probably be used to promote this game even better! i`m a freelance renderspecialist with years of experience. my goal is to create stunning artwork (still images, no complex animations) based on existing renegade models. I work with 3dsmax, rhino, vray, octane and solidworks. what I would simply need is the 3dmodel (.obj/.max/.3ds preferably) + textures.

I deleted the movies map in the renegade x folder, WORKED!!!
I installed renegade x on pretty much every pc I have! Whooop

Hey guys,
I want to hook up and old pc (win7 32-bit/msi k8t neo2/a64 x2 4800+/2GB DDR400/ati HD3850 agp SM 4) to renegade x.
So far no luck, the game freezes with a black screen and just the cursor, after loading the ren x splash screen.
I tried all the options stated here: viewtopic.php?f=34&t=72023
Is there anything more I can try?
