I've been practising alot with photoshop. I don't exactly have a portfolio yet, but I've just begun to make one...
I'd love if someone could pm me a texture that needs to be done, I'll have a stab at it and you could tell me if its any good
even if it's crap, some educated critique could do me wonders

hopefully (imo)
for me, the one thing about steam is it just "works". I've never had any problems with it, i buy all my games off it (usually dirt cheap on sales..) and all my m8s are on it so we get together in chat and have a banter while killing eachother online.
I don't think it would be a bad thing if steam took over...I suppose if that happened, piracy would be easier to stop.

i think i remember reading somewhere that they will turn at same speed as in Renegade....ren x will have same infantry speed and tank speed and health etc. as in the original renegade -

would be handy if anybody wanted to make a signature/wallpaper for themselves.

maybe snipers should be given less health than some other units...this makes them look for more sheltered places to snipe from, and in a confrontation, they won't be so hard to kill.
BUT....although this suggestion seems like a great idea from my point of view, the thing is...
the game was balanced in the first place...and changing things may shift the balance of play, totally changing the game I loved to play
and i would be very wary of ANY changed made

i think the gameplay is fine. otherwise this mod wouldn't exist, as there'd be no interest in a remake of a terrible game.
in my opinion, the best thing to do would be recreate the original C&C Renegade game on the unreal engine, and after the release, make some new options for servers, like extra maps and vehicles and stuff.

In all fairness, this isn't a contest of who knows the game the most...it's more of a matter if you can contribute to the mod at all, which judging by the posts, you can't. You havn't mentioned any modelling or texturing experience, and as far as finding glitches is concerned, i think we have enough testers already. -
