Look at the list of awards these developers have received. Every major gaming publication writes about their updates. Some of us on the forums have been following the game for 7 years. I think it was worth their time.

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD. I just saw TheGunrun's live stream http://www.twitch.tv/thegunrun/b/495140364 . So much has changed since the UT3 mod it's unbelievable. I can't wait to see what GDI is like now. I think you guys have successfully captured everything that made Renegade great (and more)!
Keep up the good work! This game was worth the wait.

I might install windows if you guys don't port the game to Steam (linux). I can't wait to see the improvements over the ut3 mod.

renegade-x.com/site still doesn't work. It gives a pretty strange message. Are you going to put it back up or should I change my bookmark to these forums?

I would love to be in the beta but I don't want to take away a spot from someone who will put in serious time. A stable game on release day will make the long wait completely worth it. Good luck with the second beta!

So... RenX will not go on Steam, but it will be on something else?And I don't really think the older guys have left us yet. At least the most of them. I personally think everyone who followed this game, and doesn't anymore, still check it out sometimes, for nostalgia reasons or just to see if the multiplayer standalone came out.What some admins do at other forums, is that they send a PM to everyone if something big comes out or something. And most people should receive that in their email. Right? ^^

You are spot on. I check back every month seeing if any news has come out. This has been going on since 2007 and I am not going to abandon this project anytime soon.
Steam would be an awesome idea because you can see when your friends are playing and even ask your friends to play with you. DO IT!

Perhaps a newsletter isn't the best idea. I still think it would be nice to have official news pushed through email. As it stands, I need to have a twitter account, rss reader, or check this site weekly. Everyone has an email. It wouldn't be hard to copy and paste the news into an email or to even email saying there is news.

As the title suggests, I would love to stay informed via email newsletters. A biweekly letter complete with pictures of the WIP would be great. Important news and info could also be broadcasted through the newsletter. I do not have any interest in rss readers and I'm sure I'm not the only person who feels this way. Does anyone else want to recieve a newsletter besides me?

Let me be as simple as I can. The first part talks about the night, so I believe it is dealing with midnight. The second talks about the beginning which in the gaming world constitutes release. Put those two together and you get "midnight release" . Am I close

I think the votes should be like raffle tickets. That way it is more random but still plays fun maps.
