  1. As long as I continue playing games, I'm a PC. And the only thing I like about Apple is its design (macbooks look alot better than dell studios imo...).

    If only Dell would lower the price on their Adamo.

  2. Look up "lockerz". Does it sound legitimate? you sign up, answer a few questions daily, blah blah, and you get points for redeeming stuff. Certainly looks more promising than the other scam sites that pop up occasionally (no, I did not sign up because of a popup, only because a friend suggested it). What do you all think?

  3. The thing is that the ammo level isn't as important as, say, health or armor levels. Your ammo level constantly depletes and recharges, making a bar or color change really unnecessary. Plus, if all three (ammo, health, armor) have bars and colors, none would stand out. I suggest leaving the ammo counter a monochrome theme, but having the armor and health change colors.

  4. Brilliant update again, you guys are doing great. Ugh, I am now resenting the fact that I'm a broke college student and I have a mediocre laptop, otherwise I would jump on the Renegade beta.

    On a side note, I'll agree with some others that the HUD doesn't work. It's too monochrome and flat, and at times becomes hard to even see.

    can you make it so engineers are able to build sandbag bunkers with a mounted m60 machine gun (same as chaingun).

    and make it so gdi and nod can rebuild a destoryed building after they get like 10000 credits.

    and make it possible to deploy Nod turret and gdi Gt as engineer if the bunker idear is not a good option.

    It deviates from the original gameplay, although it could be released as an independent mod. (although I don't know if people can release mods of mods...)
  6. It's an idea, but the problem is that gameplay could change too much because of it. The original only had this amount of weaponry available, and having "alternate" weapons with new variables and functions basically adds more weapons. I'd support aesthetic alterations of weapons, but not those that could change gameplay. Even then, I'd prefer slight skin changes (flat black to desert camo) to drastic skin changes (Raptor to AR15/M203).

    If the mods approve of something along the lines of an aesthetic alteration for weaponry, this could be a good place for holding community contests. Just my 2 cents.

  7. It'd be nice if the free characters (with exception to the flamethrower guy) were variants of the regular soldier, but with slight differentiations (i.e. differently colored armbands, helmet markings, external gear).

    For example, the shotgun soldier could be the same as the regular soldier but with a special shoulder insignia, armband, and flak jacket. Just imo, though.
