I used to play Renegade and C&C every day. There were some other players that even though it has been about a decade since I played that I still remember.
I'm curious if any of my old friends are here in this community. Does anyone from the WW servers know me I kept the same username in hopes of finding some of them.
Everyone from the ELITE OF MASS DESTRUCTION A.K.A EMD
FTWman
Ecstacy
There are more but I had a little brain fart while writing this post so i'll update with more names

It turns out that my first install tried to put the game on the, nearly full, SSD that I have because I remember seeing a "disk full" warning, but the game seemed to install so I thought nothing of it. I moved the file to another drive after I tried a reinstall and got the UE3 prompt, so I am wondering if that "disk full" warning prevented the install of the UE3 Redistributable.
That was MY EXACT issue. Sorry I Didn't post an update once I got it fixed. Thank you everyone for the support.

Hello, I'm new here, just tried running the game for the first time and I am having this exact issue. I went through this thread going step by step with the advice and still haven't got it to start working. Any more ideas? should I uninstall and reinstall like he did?

I'm not sure if this is the proper place to put this, if its not I apologize please move thread to correct area.
Action was actually taken place as i was writing this post. But here is some extra proof of what he was saying, and how he was talking when i joined the game.
Sincerely,
