  1. Having now finished listening to the podcast, I must now change my vote to

    Renegade 3

    That way, EA have to release Renegade 2.

    Edit - The person who spots why Renegade 3 (The actual reason, not just the random EA have to... thing) will get a cookie.

  2. I don't see anything wrong with Renegade 2007. It's the original name, which is important, when you change the name of something, people get confused. If they ask why it's "2007", just say that's when we started / whatever we did in 2007.

  3. Unreal has this file type that has the extension .ut(insert version number here)mod, and what is does is install a mod onto a client's UT installation with no problem. I thought this mod've used one of those.

    In reply to Jeep - it's just like a .exe, but it tends to give less errors and is more end-user friendly. It's also a recognised format amongst UT gamers, so people will know what to do with it (Open it, and follow the on-screen prompts)

    In reply to R315r4z0r -

    They would have to download it in the same way you downloaded the UT3 demo.

  4. Ok, in no particular order;

    1: Renegade. Liek duh...

    2: Star Wars - Republic Commando. If Renegade had this level of quality in it's single player, I would never have stopped playing. smile.gif

    3: Age Of Empires 3. As much as I despise MS, this is quite a lot of fun, especially when you've got two brothers, enough PCs and plenty of time.

    4: Starcraft. Well, I think we all know what SC is, probably the only game with a 10K game count, after almost 10 years. Wow. Is also a lot of fun doing team melee with elder brother, we're getting too good. smile.gif

    5: Unreal Tournament (Pick a version, any version...) Fast and fun. I'm the best out of all my brothers, must be all the Renegade I get in. smile.gif

    Hehe.

  5. I'm on highest detail with a 2.66 Ghz P4D and an ATI X1650 with only 1GB of RAM. Goodness knows what's up. Might be SEVERE fragmentation? (I tend not to notice fragmentation, SATA II RAID 10, AKA 0+1 is rather fast...)

    You say that the installer cries "corrupt"? What's the exact error message? (Download it properly, don't click "run", that might muck it up)

  6. I posted my oldest machine specs a while back, and it can run it just fine (lowest detail though). The only thing that's obligatory is that you have a Hardware DirectX 9 graphics cards.
