... Seriously? I don't think I'm wrong in saying that chems are more than a little too strong at this moment in time. If I have a mobius and I get into a 1v1 with a chem, they don't even have to be that good for me to stand a reasonable chance of losing. I'm not saying that they can't be good, just that they are way too good at what they do right now. Care to explain why I'm wrong?

I... huh? Basically every gun has next to no recoil and even then its just a straight line upwards.

I understand why team-changing was disabled for the first few minutes, but permanently locking it even when people are trying to swap to balance teams is a really dumb idea.

Honestly I don't think you have heard some of the horrors that voice chat can bring with it otherwise you wouldn't be suggesting this idea.

Because tanking is more about positioning and common sense rather than aim? It's a lot easier to get good with a tank than it is to get good with a rifle.

Whenever I try to start the launcher, it pops up in the task manager as a process for 2 seconds and then shuts down again. The last time this happened the only way I could "fix" it was by moving the launcher to my other drive. Any idea how to fix this for good?

You would say that wouldn't you...

If Patch can take down doza then why have I basically never seen it happen unless there's a huge skill disparity between the players? Are we just going to ignore the fact that doza has higher dps, hitscan and higher armour? Also you would be surprised at how much damage you can do to someone by shoving an LCG in their face.

So... despite several update attempts it still seems to not be fixed. The parachutes still aren't functional and still persist after landing.

So it turns out that the permachute bug is in fact not fixed... instead its been amplified. Now not only is the permachute still a thing (unless you get in/out of a vehicle) but parachutes aren't even functional anymore. Instead when you try to use it you end up going splat on the ground below. And as well as this somehow the third person view gets broken with the permachute.

Generally the guy that will either have caused a complete bloodbath in about 10 minutes or will have left seething in rage by that point. I get way too salty for my own good.

This can be closed now, moving the game to my other drive fixed the issue.

Unfortunately I already tried doing that at least a couple of times to no effect. EDIT: Checking task manager I'm seeing 3 processes come up whenever I try to start the launcher, all named "COM Surrogate." They all linger for 4 seconds after the launcher vanishes from the task manager. Is this something that always appears along with the launcher or could it be a possible cause?

Trying to repair the framework didn't seem to do anything, and when I try to reinstall it it says that I already have 4.6.1 or later installed, even after using something that was supposed to wipe all trace of the framework from the computer. I honestly have no idea what else could be causing it now. Has anybody else had something like this happen to them?

Well it's possible AVG could be having a tantrum and stopping it from loading, wouldn't be the first time it's done that. I'll see what disabling it does. EDIT: It's not AVG, disabling it doesn't have any effect.

As the title says, the Ren X launcher now won't start. This happened after recently restarting my PC. Whenever I try to open it, Windows 10 takes me to the "Are you sure you want to open this app?" screen. When I click yes it just goes back to the desktop as if I never tried anything in the first place. Deleting and re-installing the launcher does not fix this problem. This has also happened to a launcher for another game which eventually resolved itself in a few weeks. Would there be anyway to fix this problem manually or do I just have to wait it out again?
