This is a suggestion rather than a bug report, since this seems to be for feedback also.
The FOV for vehicle first person looks extremely narrow, which makes it difficult to navigate and attack. Possibly add a first person FOV slider for vehicles to make it customizable. Another addition that would make a huge difference for third person AND first person is to add a HUD element which shows the orientation of the vehicle relative to the vehicle's turret (and therefor the view). This would enable you to tell the orientation of the vehicle without looking at the body, and would make navigation easier.
Here is an example from Battlefield 3. (Circled in red, usernames censored.)
Note that the pointed end indicates front of vehicle, long line indicates main turret (current view) and the short line indicates the passenger's turret.
