It would be a great idea, but we would need to come up with ways to actually make it come to game, and make it balanced of course, I do agree with hate with this quote But the issue is would be when they re-capture the MCT (Silo or whatever the tech building would be) if they choose let's say F4, Two tanks wouldn't just evaporate, you get me? The F5 and F3 are more reasonable options due to proxies being capable of disappearing due to mine limits, sure, but the Vehicle part could need a bit more coding into it to actually make it work. I totally agree with the points in the quote, but keep in fact that #2 can't be easily fixed, due to the amounts of players that actually play. Okay. It might be true that the player base might be about 150 a day. but it isn't that easy to advertise such a game, keep in fact that most players that play this game are ex-renegaders, and that is why we play this game, because we know the game's mechanics and know what is going on with the game and how to fix such issues, but if you try to advertise the game to other people, they would see it as another weird ass FPS remake of an old game (I'm not saying it is, but that is what other people would say based on the friends that I had tried to get to play this game). Of course, we should try to get more players, I'm not saying we shouldn't, but we need a way to advertise the game as a good game to actually keep the players playing, and get more players to play the game. I am very thankful for the developers that are actually putting in a lot of effort into this game, and I appreciate all of your hard-work. My point is, we, the community, as a whole, view Renegade-X as an amazing game because of the nostalgic feelings that we get from playing a game we have all played in the past, Renegade, and that is why we keep trying to stay playing this game and trying to make it better, but the people who haven't played it, first, they do not know all of the mechanics of the game, even after several hours of playing, they will not get the hang of playing the game, which will cause them to discontinue playing the game, I could suggest one thing, for example, we could make a small video, an advertisement video, on YouTube, to attempt to get more players to play it, while introducing the game mechanics within the video, to help out the new players to understand the game. I would also suggest, like the 3rd point given, to attempt to reduce the effects of Sprint because it is easily being used to run away from a gunfight. enough of this rant lmao. kthxbye.

That is extremely weird. It has been a few months since I last played Renegade-X. Oh Senior year is taking hella loads of time from me and I am not capable of playing it, but anyways, I am gradually returning to Renegade-X in the name of Kurthadron. But the question that I have been asking myself is, Why the lack of servers? What has happened in the past few months that I was gone? Is it because of the ddos attacks that happened a while back? Because honestly, that would suck. But yeah, just a simple question from a simple person. What has happened to the servers?

We all have dealt with lag ingame, and it does get pretty frustrating at times where your game freezes for a few seconds during an important rush or while defusing a nuke/ion. So here are some ways to reduce lag ingame : 1) Ingame : Settings > Advanced Settings 3/3 and DISABLE STATIC DECALS and ENABLE Framerate smoothing. 2) Ingame : Settings and lower your graphic preset, antialiasing and texture filling 3) Ingame : Settings and lower Texture Detail , Detail Level, Mesh LOD, Effects LOD, and Shadow Quality 4) Ensure that other applications are currently not being used and closed 5) Open Task Manager, right click on UDK.exe*32 > Set Priority > High (Warning, this will use your MOST of the available processing power, works best with mid-high end PCs) 6) Game Boosters : http://www.razerzone.com/cortex/game-booster Just add Ren-X to the Game list and run it directly from game booster. 7) Update all your drivers 8) Scan your PC for viruses and ensure that it is clean from any malware to make sure it runs properly without any issues. I understand that the video I have posted, about Field, was not as good as I thought it would turn out to be, so I decided to make another video, on the map Islands. On this video, I used splitscreen to show both clips at once, I couldn't stretch it out because the video would appear a little bit messed up, I tried my best to do this, so if possible, give me your feedbacks on what I can do to make this a better video for future references.
