I have already posted this in the tech support section, but this section seems to get more traffic and I want to get to playing ASAP! What exactly do I need to download to play this on windows? I've got the main torrent file. I can open and navigate the launcher, but the game itself will not open. It says I am missing a file, even though I just downloaded everything a few minutes ago. Please help or explain?

I downloaded the "official renegade x torrent" from the downloads menu, but the game will not run. I can access the launcher, but when trying to open the actual game, a window pops up saying "The program can't start because XINPUT1_3.dll is missing from your computer." It then tells me to try reinstalling the program. Do I need to download a mirror as well? I have never downloaded a full game like this before and feel very much out of my depth. I just was to re-live some awesome times playing the original renegade.
