  1. I also had a problem with the lock system on a TS vehicle. I had just bound my hover MRLS (had destroyed my previous vehicle with it), and some noob (not a bot) stole it from me when I was repairing it.
  2. Since the latest patch, the SBH has become easily visible to GDI at any range. In Field, got sniped several times at long range while playing SBH, when I had not been previously hit, wasn't shooting, and when nobody was around me. I also got shot by other infantry, APCs, etc. at long ranges.
  3. I was playing Goldrush as GDI, and the rockets from my MRLS bounced off the control tower of the Airstrip and came back almost directly on me. I was firing at the windows/roof of the building from what would be 30-40 feet away (about the length of 2 vehicles), standing not far from the Obelisk IIRC. I was able to repeat this several times.
  4. They are, as far as I have seen, mostly typos and sentences which have an awkward structure. For example, when a player commits suicide, it is written "comitted" instead of "committed". Another example that comes to mind is the structure of the sentence which gives players a tip on timing airstrikes (I haven't got the exact sentence in mind, but it basically tells you to time your airstrikes because they take a few seconds before hitting their target). I would like to help correct all these little things and just to do my (very little) part in helping this great game grow. I could compile the corrected text either in an MS Word file or in a private message. It isn't much and perhaps you've already fixed all of these things in Beta 4, but if you haven't, I'm offering to help.
  5. I didn't mean chat text, I meant the game text which appears anywhere in the game and which is visible to users. For example, the text which appears while the map is loading or on the main screen, or the in-game text that tells you who killed who or who committed suicide.
  6. I hadn't thought about that aspect. It's true that players would be stuck either watching or leaving the server, which is probably the only C&C game where this could actually be an issue. I think there would be ways to design maps or game modes to circumvent this issue (say, make victory possible at a given point total, or make such a game more limited in time), but I guess there remains the issue of code, which I expected would be a problem.   7. Don't know if this is the right place to post this or if anyone has offered to assist in this department, but I could help with correcting the in-game text. I have no skill in programming.
  8. Hi, I was wondering if the way the game is designed and coded allowed for maps where more than 2 teams would compete against one another. I thought the idea of having maps which pit 3 or 4 teams against one another (on new maps created by the team, of course) would be really interesting. This is more of a long-term or hypothetical question, really. I was just wondering what you devs thought of it, or if it even crossed your mind.
  9. Hi guys, First off, I've only played a half-hour but so far Beta 3 looks like a massive improvement on the previous version. Good job! Anyway, I entered a server directly through the Beta 3 launcher. After playing a little bit without trouble, I left the server to go back to the in-game start window, but it actually brought me back to the Beta 2 start window, even though I uninstalled Beta 2 before installing Beta 3. My computer completely crashed a minute later (it turned itself off without warning), but I'm not 100% sure it was only due to the game.
  10. PS : I had to uninstall and reinstall the game to solve the problem.
  11. Hi, I tried lowering my graphics options to reduce game lag (using Beta 2). The first time, I immediately closed the game, but the game automatically restarted...without the option changes! The second time around, the game closed, but now it won't open. I get a "built with UDK has stopped working" bug before the game even starts, regardless of how I try to launch the game. I uninstalled Beta 1 after installing Beta 2, in case that might be of any significance to mention.
  12. I got a blue screen of death after playing on Walls Flying. The game had loaded the following map but the game hadn't started yet (I had that strange view where you're sort of first person and can look around before the game begins).
  13. Hi, I was playing Walls_Flying on Jelly Server with a technician and I died twice by suicide for no reason, each time around an Ion Cannon Beacon (I was Nod). The first time I died before I could disarm the beacon on top of the Power Plant (convenient for GDI since the beacon destroyed the building). The second time I died immediately after disarming the beacon on the Refinery. Each time, there were no more enemies around. And each time, my character was sent flying to the ground below. I'm not sure if this is a bug or a hack, but it's really taking the fun out of the game.
