  1. I have it where ever now and again an explosion will completely freeze my game for around 20 seconds. Then it suddenly starts working again. Sometimes I can play for hours without this bug, often it will happen every couple of matches and rarely it will happen half a dozen times in a match. But it always happens when something explodes in my field of view whether it is close or even rather distant.
  2. It is just that currently in their bugged state it is making this game extremely unfair. On maps without base defences Nod is almost guaranteed to win. And on maps with base defences I am usually the lone idiot who has to spend the whole match guarding the back entrance or else we loose anyway. This really makes the game unenjoyable for anyone playing GDI( i don't even enjoy playing Nod much due to how easy it is to cripple the enemy team.) because beacons are bugged and can be placed where they are impossible to see and often even disarm even if they can be seen. This allows one single person to destroy the others base with absolutely no team work nor even skill. Well either that or their price needs to be increased to around 5000 credits. This is a super weapon after all and it should not be as spammable as it currently is, It should be difficult to get and the person doing so should have to really disadvantage their early game play to be able to afford it. This might disadvantage Nod somewhat but they can still just as easily destroy a structure with some teamwork. 3 SBH with c4 could still take down a building easily enough but I consider that fairer as atleast it takes some teamwork instead of one lone low skill player being able to cripple the opposing team 5 min into a match by by abusing bugs. I know server owners can easily change the price on items so if anyone of you wants to try this price increase on super weapons please let me know as i will be playing exclusively on your server until this bug is fixed.
  3. If you want a game exactly like the original why not just play the original? Though I would imagine that when modders get their hand on this game we will have a classic mode with changes that are only necessary due to engine limitations.
  4. Load up a SBH with about 6-10 mines as close to he's feet as possible then send in him as a suicide bomber along the path the tanks are coming from. Even if he is killed before reaching the tanks the mines are still there waiting for them to advance. if he is not killed it can 1shot a mammoth. Rinse and repeat until they are all dead. I also feel that the suicide bomber tactic fits right into NOD's lore. Another useful thing is to just have some good snipers, any tank goes down easily if you kill the engineers healing it. Also don't forget just how powerful the obelisk of light is with engineers healing it. Had a game earlier where they got our weapons factory early on and yet we held off multiple full mammoth rushes mainly due to the Obelisk.
  5. Black Screen on Start (with audio): Most likely, the game has defaulted to an unsupported resolution. Navigate to to the Config folder ("C:\Program Files (x86)\Renegade X\UDKGame\Config" by default) and open "UDKSystemSettings.ini" Locate "ResX" and "ResY" and set to your monitor's resolution. For example: ResX=1920 ResY=1080 Save the .ini and start the game.
  6. I have a slightly worse computer than you and yet I am running this game on ultra settings with 2xAA with 40-60fps. Your specs should not be causing lag. Maybe see if this will help viewtopic.php?f=34&t=72631

  8. Thnx for that all. One last question. I thought i heard someone say APC's can detect stealth in game, is this true or not? Hate- So being able to lock on stealthed units is intended?
  9. I am just wondering how exactly stealth works in this game, namely being seen while stealthed. Can I only be seen while moving, if I get too close to someone or am I completely invisible until I take an action? Also is there any way to detect stealthed units apart from base defences?
