  1. I can't believe the project is already existing for 10 years now! I still know it's beginnings 10 years ago. I still love it and play it regularly online. A small but very fine community :-) Thank you for keeping the spirit of the original Command & Conquer alive. Without you C&C would be dead since a long time now as EA simply buring it after they released the last really bad titles. Renegade X should be available at Steam or at least EA's Origin as a paid game as this project deserves more attention and a larger playerbase. One of the last classic games still to be played. I'm with you for the next 10 years and beyond to support Renegade X as O can. You're great!
  2. I think it would be a good feature to activate Mutators from the ingame Menu, just like you do in Unreal Tournament. I will try out, what you just wrote.

  4. Maybe there could be mutators that alter the movement speed of characters and a damage multiplier mutator to allow different styles of general gameplay.
  5. The bots need a complete overhaul to work well with C&C Mode, but I don't think the developers will spend any time on improving them. Maybe one of the Modders can fix the bots.
  6. One of the developers said, they will not spend time on improving the bots, because it is not worth the effort. I already posted some Bot issues earlier (viewtopic.php?f=123&t=72564) Now, as the Modding tool is released, maybe one of the modders makes some of the improvements on AI

  8. Asking to lock another player's thread? That is so weak I am lmao. Hey bud, I can't help it if people liked that thread. Its not my fault they kept reviving it, lol. (Wonder why...hmmmmm?) You have been constantly begging the devs for info for a long time now and so far I haven't seen any response from them. I don't know what you hope to accomplish, but if its getting the devs to engage it ain't working. Do you have nothing better to do than looking all day long in some forum for news of a game? Get something going in the real world and stop bothering people, sacrificing their free time to create something that is free for you.
  9. I'm wondering why none of the developers says anything in this post about what's going on. Yeah the crashes in Multiplayer matches are annoying. The problem is that Singleplayer, which is nearly crash free, also is far from being finished. The bots fight well, but they still need a massive overhaul to properly know what do in C&C Mode. So playing Singleplayer instead is also not possible.

  11. Hi, as you already have done a great job in making an awesome Renegade X Soundtrack, I thought it would be a shame, if the tracks wouldn't make it into the game as Background Music. It would greatly expand the game's atmosphere.
  12. It's just as SF Jake wrote: The bots need a massive improvement. There are many things that need to get fixed with them.
  13. An increased number of max. bots in skirmish would be good, but in my opinion the bots skill needs to be improved first, to work better along with the game mechanics.(See in the Feedback for Bots and AI section for more detailed information. There are already a couple of posts)

    The team has done a great job so far. I can only say: Keep up the good work! Yeah, new maps and a more stable game would fit very well. I also would appreciate improvements to bot behaviour. They need some general polishing.

    Hello, in the last few weeks everything about RenegadeX got very quietly. Are there some news about a new update?
  16. Right now, I think, RenegadeX is in pretty good shape. If the crashes are fixed and if the bots get improvements, I would pay maybe up to 30 €.

    Is there already known, what changes the patch will bring? I'm looking forward to see some improvements to AI and other fixes.
  18. I think it would be a cool feature, if stealth disables for SBH and STanks when they take damage.
  19. How often does it happen in a normal match? I usually play on masterful or adept and never got that issue since beta2.
  20. Maybe this has nothing to do with the issue on goldrush, but it's a similar thing. So I post it here: On field I noticed that GDI can take out the airstrip and refinery by planting ion beacons at the walls right next to the lower entrance to the tunnels. I don't know if this was already a feature in the original Renegade, but I think this should be fixed, cause it seems to me like exploiting a mistake in the map design.

  22. I noticed this in skirmish, too on field for the NOD harvester. On Mesa the GDI harvester drove through the NOD base.

  24. I've noticed some bots suicide, too. In general the bots need some tweaking: -Bots don't use airstrikes. -Bots don't plant nuclear and ion beacons or disarm them. -They don't capture tech buildings. -They don't buy flying vehicles. -Bots need to focus more on destroying enemy buildings when attacking. Actually they just sweep out and hunt down enemies. They only target buildings, if they are near to one and no enemy is in sight. But due to all the respawning enemies in a base, they are distracted too much. -They should plant mines when defending as engineer class It would be good, if the developers can make some improvements to this in the next update.
  25. Hi, I found a bug with the Option: "Starting Credits" in the skirmish menu. No matter which value you choose, you always start with 150 Credits
