well i lied... it was working yesterday.. and now its not working again, same UDK problem.. yay..

i am only comparing amount of bullets it takes to kill people. its completely unrealistic

I ended up re downloading the game from a different mirror and then installing it. i think it was just a download issue that ended with corrupt files

I think That people in general should be easier to kill. not to say that i like COD, Battlefield, or halo better but it seems kind of ridiculous how many bullets i put into someone and they don't die. for example in COD killing someone with a pistol takes depending on the pistol 8 or 9 shots. using the magnum is only two, and with the 5-7 i can kill someone in 3. granted that there are no vehicles in COD so health should be increased some. but then if you argue that point we can go to Battlefield. There are a plethora of vehicles in that game, but killing someone with a gun is relatively easy. In Renegade X killing someone with a gun literally takes an entire mag if you are using the main infantry soldier. and that's if they are not moving. Humans should not be able to take that much abuse?? I mean in halo they are Spartans. they have increase speed strength, and not to mention they have a freaking shield. even so it is easier to kill someone on halo than it is on Renegade. A little adjustment would be nice

I'm not sure.. I have now gotten it to work on both my windows 7 and windows 8 computers. I didn't just re-install mine, (which i tried repeatedly) i re-downloaded it from a different mirror. downloading files, a million things can go wrong. Like on my windows 8 if you leave the computer on the screen goes black and to save power it shuts off the internet, which interrupts the download. i had to turn of power save and i ended up just babysitting the download till it finished. If you have tried other solutions and they haven't worked i would definitely uninstall and delete the downloaded file and re-download it from a different mirror. if the files are corrupt re-installing won't fix anything because its pretty much compiling all the files that you have already downloaded and putting a pretty bow on it. if there is a corrupt file re-installing it does nothing. I would definitely re-download it and install from the new download, if that doesn't fix the problem then i would start to complain to the developers

You click on the Renagade X icon, and it shows the beginning screen, then it goes full screen and its just black with the curser doing the loading sign, then it goes back to the home screen with a error that says Built with UDK error closing program.. im having the same problem on windows XP and windows 8. My windows 8 is running 64 bit and my XP is running 32 bit, but they both get the same error.

I click the start in game menu and in it shows a black screen, then it has a Built with UDK error any help?

I installed direct X and went to the command prompt and fixed that, now it goes to the splashscreen, then comes up with an error about built with UDK any suggestions?

When i start the launcher i get to the start screen where there are options to go to start menu, select server directly, view tutorial and follow on twitter. clicking on the go to start menu does nothing, and trying to pick a server directly won't let me join. you hit the join and it does nothing. help?
