No it will be "dead" as how old renegade was "dead" There will be a few servers with about 100 players for a very long time. The reason being the devs being unable to correctly fix crashing. The ten people I play(ed) with crash more than ever now and gave up Before the "patch" (whole new download beta2) we only crashed on map switch. Now you get crashes before map loads, during battles, after map loads, just because you tried to use c4. It really does suck but this is the problem with any open beta testing. Crashes will happen. So I think the game will "die" until open beta crashing is fixed and a global release happens. I can not wait for such a day as it will be glorious. I give the devs all my best wishes and hope they fix these problems during open beta! May Kane be with you all!

Oh yes I agree it is better for the game Just like having the "USE REPAIR GUN" message over the silo now is also better for the game. It helps out newbies who are a tad bit derpy when it comes to these things. Sadly it makes me cringe seeing my Nod brethren with bright green and GDI with a dull red......

Is there a way I can make it so Nod shows up as red names and GDI as gold/yellow names again? This utterly ridiculous green = teammate and red = enemy makes me vomit inside

its 2014 and I'm SO HAPPY I don't have to hear your voice screeching over the microphone about how I need to (insert random command here) or else you will keep yelling at me. Just take the point! Have had plenty of marathon games won via typing in the text and coordinating an attack. If you want to talk that bad add some people and invite them to a TS or VENT.

Havoc and Sakura's Ramjet rifle are hit scan weapons I am pretty sure. In other words where ever you point and click the "bullet" (imho its more like a lazer beam that travels at the speed of light hence it is hit scan) will instantly hit the target. Do not lead your targets with these weapons just point and click.

Well your people remove forum posts that are truthful so I wouldn't doubt if this guy loves the game as much as I do and no lifes renegade x to be number one. Yet you "hide" him because a known glitcher cries hard enough.... Well jeeze now I for SURE wont ever attempt to go only for score. Glad I only care about kdr and not score farming via repairing. Would just be hidden

Trying to join friends or have friends join me is a giant hassle. scenario one: We all agree to join a server. I click join and am sent to some random server on a different map with a different amount of players than the browser showed. My other friend is sent to another server on a different map with an even more different amount of players. Lastly my third friend is also redirected to some random server. scenario two: we attempt to enter the IP and can join a few servers correctly, however many of the servers require a port due to running on the same IP. Being unaware of what the port is makes our choice of servers very limited. Sadly sometimes after we enter the ip it just kicks us back to the main screen or doesn't do anything at all. We are all baffled at this strange anomaly and have never experienced such a bug in our life times. Also as a side note, the "map and ping" does not show up in the browser list for any of my five buddies who play this game. Once again thanks for everything you all have done, much love <3

Saw my first cheater just now. It was quite amusing indeed. First I was on GDI and he was havoc and I noticed he had some script to make his name change every 3 seconds (random name to "NOT A HACKER" then back to some random name) So I followed him around and sure enough I am watching him snipe SBH from a ways away while they are cloaked and not sprinting. So I decided to switch teams and bait him into shooting at me while I was in stealth mode and not moving. Then I decided to bait him into following me and tracking me (wall hack) even though I was zig zagging throughout many building entrances and ramps to the roof. Sadly other people caught on he was cheating (even though I said nothing and was just amusing my self with these antics) and they all left the server. So some form of anti cheat is needed big time :C but that's UDK for ya'

Well as a player of renegade since 2002, I must say this is the greatest thing to ever happen to video gaming I thank you kindly for all your hard work and you can have all my in game credits First on my list is the lack of customization with controls. -You have Primary and Secondary but no remote c4, grenades, timed c4. Having to use "scroll wheel" when every split second counts, having to scroll down and over scrolling what explosive device you need can get you killed. -Aim Down Sight, is a great idea. However every person I play with in tournaments or others with very good aim uses a key for ADS not RMB, and sadly since some things such as alternate fire is very awkward to use with a key I just find my self torn between do I keep it RMB and use alternate fire of things such as the flak gun and setting off explosives. Or do I just negate that and only worry about ADS. So far I have chose to ignore ADS all together. I really wish you would make a new key for ADS only Just two things that really bother me and I hope will be added to the input options sometime soon.
