  1. That is a good idea. I've changed my Steam name to game references before (like Joseph Fireseed). I think I shall do the same for a while. Curiosity, is it difficult to change you LoL name?
  2. Although I don't quite get the hype surrounding Titanfall I don't think purposefully antagonizing them is a good idea. Especially since the publisher of Titanfall is the company that is graciously allowing RenegadeX to even exist.
  3. One of my favorite vehicles of Renegade was the rocket bikes you could get on some custom maps and in skirmish mode by activating cheats. These vehicles were incredibly fun. Is there any chance of them coming back, perhaps as a tech building item?
  4. [ORIGINAL POST] They should look like the beacons from the original Ren. Small pedestals with a tall cylinder. They should glow according to what type of beacon they are. I'll try to get a picture (Don't expect quality. My computer hates the Unreal 3 engine). [END ORIGINAL POST] Got the pictures of the beacons. Hope this helps.
  5. I hope this issue is fixed in a patch. It's rather annoying trying to sort by player count, choosing a 30/40 server and ending up on an empty server except for a single bot. I would use the launcher but I launch through Steam for the overlay. Between this glitch and the lack of ping in the ingame browser, it's rather frustrating.
  6. My only complaint with scoring is that it is too important to the game. The game will consider a point lead more important than the fact a team is down to a single building compared to the other team having everything if the clock runs down.
  7. Was playing Field on Jelly, purchased a Tiberium Auto-Rifle. When the map switched over to Walls Flying, I still had my Auto-Rifle. Perfectly usable and all that. No idea how to replicate, but I was having some extreme lag issues when the map change occurred.
  8. I've been following Renegade X for quite a while now. Played it while it was still a UT3 mod, enjoyed Black Dawn, and anxiously awaited this day. I'm now downloading the game through a torrent (Literally the only reason I own a torrent program. Only things I've ever downloaded through it are Black Dawn and RenX) and can't wait to install. However, I saw that the game somehow uses Steam to track your stats, despite not being on Steam in any official capacity (at this moment!). I'm curious as to how this works and what brought on the decision to uses this method of stat tracking compared to simply attaching the forum accounts to a game account. Let it be known I'm not worried about the devs stealing any information through Steam! I'm fully confident in Steam's ability to resist such efforts and in the developers moral fiber. I'm just curious as to how this all works.
