  1. Haven't read the whole thread so I don't know if someone already said this. Engineers/hotwires/technicians... Please heal your fellow healers (and infantry). It's very important to heal vehicles, but if every hotwire/technician out on the field dies the vehicles are gonna start having trouble. Also, when getting healed as an infantry, try standing still if possible. It's really hard to heal moving infantry. Or you can try to sync your movements with eachother to make it easier. One more thing, if you're in a vehicle which has time bombs or C4's planted on them, it's the same thing. It's superhard to remove it if the vehicle is moving. I actually think you should be able to spot time bombs or C4's or proximity mines with "Q", since it might be hard for the people inside the vehicles to realise they got bombs on them.
  2. I agree. I like the way it works now and I do not think that mechanic should become more like in TF2..
  3. I don't see it as a reward either. I've been playing with hacks one time, and that was in Red Faction like 10 years ago.. The hack gave you a golden gun which fired superfast, and you could fly and run through walls. It was fun for maybe 5 minutes, then I uninstalled the hack and never resorted to using hacks every again.
  4. Well the gameplay was fun multiplayer. But EA pretty much screwed up everything else. I do not consider C&C3/4 to be cannon in any way and it should not be part of Renegade X. I do like the idea of incorporating ideas from Tiberian Sun, as I think that game was way better than the original C&C. But I understand if that's a no-no because of the timeline.

  6. I actually like this idea as an option you can choose when starting a game. There are tiberium blossom trees in Tiberian Sun (and Tiberian Dawn) that "spouts" tiberium, making the tiberium field grow larger. There is one in one of the earlier Renegade singleplayer campagin maps too. Maybe the maps with unlimited tiberium could have one of those blossom trees somewhere in the middle of the field, to show the players that the tiberium field won't run out? and tiberium fields that will run out doesn't have the blossom tree. If there are maps where players can harvest tiberium, maybe the tiberium can run out - but then regrow later because of the blossom tree? To not make a team able to get infinite credits in short time.
