3ds max is mostly used for vehicles and buildings. There is also a program called Maya (both 3ds max and maya are from same company) that people use. For characters, if you want detailed (ut3 based characters) people use Zbrush, its the most common one. 3ds max is used for characters also, but low detailed ones like ones in C&C renegade, and RTS game because they dont need much detail to it. If you are trying to figure out witch to start with, i would recommand characters because its the hardest one and the easy ones would be left for last. My choice actualy was buildings and i think i succeded at it but i cant model vehicles and characters. It seems easy to model vehicles, but i dont have good imagination of what scale stuff are and what kind of details should the vehicles have. Good luck!

They are still making Renegade-X for unreal tournament 3 because they want to be in the "Make Something Unreal" contest. You cant participate if your using UDK.

If i understand right, you are converting renx to word as stand alone with udk? Thats smart of you, there is a good difference between ut3 and udk. UDK doesnt eat alot of memory.

All of the sudden, Renegade-X community started ignoring me. Not only this, there are other places too. I hope it has nothing to do with my mod.

There is alot of things that i dont know about modeling even tho i model good. last week ago, i learned about turbosmoothing+spline and it helped my models look much better, smoothed too. So, is there anything you guys could tell me that i can do for better quality modeling, any modefiers ect...

I think in .35. i got my mrls destroyed and it got me out of the vehicle and then it let me repair and i used thr mrls again.

Oh, sorry i didnt realize it because in renegade they are really small. I love it tho its awesome. Keep up the super work guys.

I love it, its awesome. But, one thing... Why a C&C 3 Ion Cannon? I still like the it but i usualy like the old cnc one, not the cnc 3 because cnc 3 is way off the other tiberium wars..
