As weird as it may sound I love this temporary restriction. 64 players while a staple in other games is way to crowded for my tastes. Give me a solid 12-24 player server any day. Small servers like that feel much more personal and are much easier to communicate and strategize in.

My biggest gripe is the relativly short range of the weapon, and other projectiles in general. I get that point whoring is bad and was rampent in the original but most point whoring tactics have been solved by the updated maps.

Good suggestions and I've got a few of my own. 1) Highlight the players name on the Tab scoreboard to make it more easy to find one's name. 2) Basic Infantry should die when they take a tank shell to the chest, period.
