  3. The fact that a map nigh un-winnable without one item (that wasn't even around till like beta 4) speaks volumes about said map more than anything. Hell... even with smoke Field was a definite bore-fest. Granted, give it time, we'll see if anyone learns how to just mix units, so Officers and snipers actually use the shit they have. Right now nobody reads, so most people don't even know what they have in their inventories. I won't add it next patch, but I'll keep adding back single-use grenades to the item menu on the back-burner.
  4. Basically. The only reason I fixed skirmish this last patch is because... well, I was bored and waiting on stuff.
  5. No idea what that is. Might be anti aliasing. Will probably put Hotwires back to regular speed for the sake of being able to get into the strip tower on Field. Also since she gets owned pretty easily anyway. Also will probably revert the point bonus for killing infantry, as right now the economy is almost as broken as when the silo was damn near another Refinery. Nobody expected the boundary to be perfect...and lord knows it gave hell just getting it to where it is now As for mines...it literally takes like the same amount of time to mine if not less right now.
  6. You've always been able to chill in trees on Lakeside if you just parachute down on them.
  7. He also didn't fresh install. If you delete the actual Renegade X folder then reinstall it should all be synced up.
  8. That's not the boundary, that's the ceiling on Lakeside. Already known and fixed.

  10. What is the folder path you're finding this base 'systemsettings.ini', as that shouldn't even be a thing.

  12. I'm starting to think nobody's shot an Artillery with Gunner before... he can literally kill one in one clip and a couple of shots from a sidearm. And LCG is supposed to be 'mainly' anti-tank. It just happens to have a gun that mows down anything.
  13. In DefaultSystemSettings.ini check "bAllowD3D9MSAA". If it's set to True, make it False... or vice versa. Then delete UDKSystemsettings.ini and start the game.
  14. Yeah, I thought about that wording after I posted it, just never went back to change it. And the chem sprayer itself doesn't ignore armour, but the bleed damage for it does. EDIT: Snipers are.. basically nerfed about as much as I'm willing to nerf them. They're the hard counter to engineers, and now, AT infantry that move slower (so long as they actually .. you know..... snipe.. and not try to be CQC experts)

  16. That's ... super fringe case. If they can pull it off at the exact millisecond every time just to try and get a unit... I'm all for giving kudos. I also don't think it would actually work even if they didn't ....And I'm not sure, but you are aware those top 3 infantry are supposed to be available even without a Barracks, right ?

  18. I like the idea of this map more than its current state. It needs destroyable Purchase Terminals, otherwise it's going to be nigh impossible to ever end it. Also.. silos give some ridiculous credit values.
  19. Added. However, just so everyone knows, everything added by Ruud is going in its own folder/special place, soooo get ready to have to redo a lot of things, e.g the Foliage volume, as it will have to point to a different path now.
  20. It's like a 20+second cooldown on Patch's frag grenade.... and that's the lowest cooldown there is. Highest is the EMP at ~60seconds. So no.
  21. Indeed, the Yosh has been toiling away in silence, but on that same token the silence can finally be broken. Most of this patch focuses on totally rehauling infantry, as for the most part, infantry have been broken in OldRen/RenX since the dawn of their existence. RenX at least made other weapons viable other than sniper rifles, but then it shot itself in the foot by giving engineers + every other class Assault rifles, so nothing really had that much of a purpose, and you could get away with just being a Tech/Hotty 90% of the time. On top of that, there never really felt like there was any variation in classes, ESPECIALLY considering there were 14 of the freakin' things. So... things happened. Of course, we did more than just handle infantry stuff... but that's the primary portion of the change-list.
