Wouldn't it be little normal for the gunship to have such a modeling?I think it shall be better to have an amazing red light effect or something else.And I can't associate it with the scrin,beacuase it seems too ordainry to be an alien creation.So how about giving it the ability to provide the nod soilders with an alternative route to enter the battlefield wearing gliding garment?After all,the drop pod belongs to GDI.It's not strange for the nod to copy the transmission technology from the scrin.
