  1. Well.. that didn't fix it.. had a couple more "out of video memory" crashes.. Too bad.. I was able to play for a bit
  2. Ok, had some success with this: - changed paging file to 4GB (the max) - turned textures to low - I set the other four graphic settings beneath textures from the default of "very high" to "high" I was able to join a server and play for about 10 min. Not sure it's "fixed" so to speak but at least I could play a bit
  3. I'm having "out of video memory" problem too.. WinXP 32 bit Edit: I have 2GB of system RAM.. guessing that might be the problem I did try enlarging the page file and got into a map but then it crashed and now I get crashes at startup splash screen so I reset page file back to original. All crashes are "out of video memory" errors I also tried the "/3GB" add on in the boot.ini file but that didn't work for me either..

    We did it!

This is a huge accomplishment. So many projects like this never see the light of day and you guys did it after years of hard work (plus it looks great!!). Can't wait to play!! Congrats!!
  5. Same here, thanks for the reply! Can't wait to give this a spin. Some of my favorite multiplayer memories of all time came from Renegade (when it worked). Can't wait to relive them w the old gang in a more stable environment.
  6. Is access public or closed? I'm an old Renegade player too and can't wait to play this. Keep up the great work!
  7. It seems a lot of folks here still haven't been able to connect to any servers (myself included). I know you guys are working on squashing bugs and such. I assume you are making progress towards the connection issues also? Any ETA on when that might be working? a week? a month? I haven't heard anything recently addressing that specifically so I was just curious. My brief Instant Action session really has me stoked to play a game of this with real people. Keep up the great work.
  8. QUOTE (Mighty BOB! @ Oct 4 2009, 02:53 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yah, I was specifically referring to not being able to get it to run. A mini-patch would be great. I got my weekly fileplanet subscriber email yesterday and they were promoting you guys pretty well. I was just left thinking "yah I just wish it was working for everybody". Thanks for the info.
  9. Any updates from the Dev team? Just wondering what's going on.
  10. Well I can't connect to any servers but I went into Instant Action and damn the mod looks and plays better than I was even hoping for. Nice job folks. Now if I could just get connected to a server...
  11. Having same problems as many others. When I try the server client it freezes on the screen with the two guys on the hill. When I try the second method using 78.129.164.83:7777 I get a map loading screen and it stays there. I have the Steam version and didn't try the moving folders thing suggested above yet. Don't know if that should be necessary or not?
  12. QUOTE (xCommando @ Sep 30 2009, 07:07 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So you physically just moved the unreal tournament 3 directory out of the steam/steamapps/common directory and put it in mygames and it worked? Just trying to make sure I understand how you moved the game.
  13. I think I read somewhere that this is possible. Can anyone verify?
  14. Yah, it's in the FAQ. It does work with the steam version.
