  2. If you're regularly ferrying to e.g. platform they will hit buildings quite quickly after so you'd actually end up doing pretty well from it, likely close to comparable to actually shooting at buildings.
  3. It was taken offline a few months ago sadly, so now my only option is lagfest EU at 300-400 ping. And I'm not the only one I pay for a yearly server rental, which does almost nothing for my business, so if I knew how much data it used i'd happily host one in USA lol. If I knew how to do it too lol.
  4. Very good points all around. Healing-style payout might be easiest to implement but with max 10 seconds and a cool down to stop farming. Base to plat on walls is ~6-10s depending on how good your flight skills are. So if you don't get VP in that time then it's sort of wasted implementation. But also avoid farming as suggested.. Just thinking of teamwork mechanisms that aren't in this game (nor any other!).

  6. Few months back when corona-chan first hit there were two full servers at many times!! That was where Ren-X needs to be. I'll have to look at spreading Ren-x gameplay videos and encourage anyone else to tell people about it.
  7. On the few maps where Transport Helicopters are critical, if you play solely (or mostly) as transport driver you have basically 0 score. The players love you but you have nothing else to show for it And if someone doesn't want to do that sacrifice your team will usually lose, but you are performing a critical service. Would it be possible to have a system where VP is awarded for transport use, e.g. 1 vp per pax per trip (10s minimum cooldown time etc). Just an idea to promote more team gameplay basically - cheers!
  8. I think building killing is very imbalanced at low play counts, because the few good players will just end the game that way. If you are half decent at sneaking it's pretty hard for a few players to stop you.

  11. This would be very useful too when on a map I don't know so well. Same with a direction marker for tanks showing body and turret angle if possible.
  12. It's easy for 2 mobis and an eng to run in and camp behind the rock and kill the PP GT.. Nod has no such exploit and a much harder time to get into the base..

  14. Issue is still present. Have seen it on almost all larger main offence types of vehicle so far (I don't play GDI much though). It gets really annoying on Field and variants depending on how you are playing.. basically now it's risky to go near walls if you have to do more than go in a straight line.

  16. Yeah this is probably related to the wall/invisible issue it's only happened recently. If you are too close the entire tank becomes invisible. Agreed on flame tank it's very. very hard to see what direction it is going.. NOD is the red-headed stepchild sometimes it feels like.

  18. Hi, new bug since recent update. If you are by a wall with arty/etc, even two arty widths away and the tank will 'clip' out of visible. So you can't see hull or barrel angle when next to or close to a wall. This makes maneuvering slow, nerfed to shit arty really frustrating in emergency situations... Also can the splash damage of arty be increased a little vs flack armour? It's ridiculous when you shoot multiple times near flack armour inf and still get taken out. You're SLOWER than inf, similar armour and much larger hit box..
  19. Hi, I also notice similar. I'm usually 200-300 ping playing from a tiny Island in the bottom of the pacific. What I have noticed lately is EU server, even when not full has much more lag than usual. NA was always best for me (sometimes sub 200ms) but EU server even with similar or little higher feels worse.. lot of rubberbanding, very hard to hit tanks with repair gun etc... So it might not just be you.
  20. Good capture, that stream of mams is a bad day for nod when HON is already in bad shape. Pretty gloomy sequence there! Pity it's been so quiet recently servers are often quite dead lately, why is it? Heard kids back to school but didn't think that many kids play it.
  21. We were testing on another server than that for some reason. EU server sucks its laggier than NA (I get 200+ ping on any server normally but EU is just nasty.) We did go to there after but I think issue was map voting it wouldn't show up if already played it recently, on other servers. I'm a noob and have no idea how to work these things.
  22. We had so much trouble voting eyes earlier but had good fun mucking around.. edit: I'd also love to try this on field or field-x. Later game stages it's very difficult to get out of the base if hemmed in as NOD.
  23. These situations already exist in some maps. The trick is to provide cover points for engineers to run to if it's hot or you have to have a good driver who will shield you. Repping can be very good fun if you have a good group to do it with. Two or three techs and a small squad of tanks can be a formidable force if working together and lots of fun for all involved. Very few maps do I get bored with repping plus it's a great way to make lots of coin if the ref is gone.
  24. The lovely, often abused MLRS curve in action. A really fair game mechanic, each time people are asked why they are doing it 'i'm doing it to show that it needs to be nerfed'.. months later it's still abused... Makes it impossible to get out of the base for NOD, you can't hit the mlrs spam on clifftop or entrance, mobi camp tunnels, HON constantly under attack etc. 'bUt dA ArTy DrOps tO0!1!!' And yes someone smoked hon so it couldn't be repped, nice one.
  25. Yeah glad to finally have them and added trails, it could be not always easy to tell when/where you are getting hit by snipers in arty or on field.
