  1. i tried it .... and it worked like a charm on the default templates of SDK but my map still has the same problem god know what i clicked in the world properties and light propreties, now when im building lights on preview quality SDK dont crash but if i take it up to medium its back to crashing i tried tools/check maps for errors and i got some errors... the below errors to be exact (dont know if they have anything to do with the issue i found the thread in forum somewhere on how to properly set up Swarm but that is not the problem..... even after i build lights on preview quality this is what i get i am willing to send the map .udk file if that will help get a better look at the problem thank you guys for your assistance
  2. hello PS: Sorry in advance if this forum already exists but i couldnt find anything related to it so i created my own thread so i'm currently working on a map , but my problem is whenever i try to build lights, SDK crashes i don't think i have hardware or software issues ( just in case something might be wrong here is my PC specs) core i7 5th gen nvidia gt 750m 250gb ssd 1tb HDD 16gb ram when i was building the map i converted some static meshes into movers .... im still new to SDK so i dont know what that is but i did bcz when i was laying out the track decal (to designate the vehicle path) the decals were overlapping the static meshes that i was using ... converting static meshes into movers got rid of the problem i tried building lights for a single selected object...low resolution... preview.... but no matter what i did it kept crashing please advise and thank you in advance

Naaaaa man trust me.... i am an architect and i know how shitty it is to copy someone else's work This map is all me... ill upload it and u can see for urself (im still learning by watching ur vids anf kenz's.... and i have a loooong way to go) I may have stolen ur outpost idea ..... but just the idea ..... its design is all me

  5. the NOD base with 2 strips is the destroyed base from the first assault on the facility (i was thinking of adding a capturable MCT and a vehicle PAD) the active bases are the ones above the river line (normal bases with 1 bldg each) so far im almost done with the basic map layout but i still have a looooooong way to go ..... i still also have the Kismet work ( i have below 0 experience with kismet but i will learn) i will also have to rework the inf path .... add decorations.... fix terrain....add river.....add landscape elements....... pfffffffffffffff so much work but it will get there ..... eventually im open to any suggestions

  8. to be honest i dont really know if mammoth is functional or just a decoration im working on this map to scale fit a mommoth in it (Even tho work on it has slowed down cz work is killing me )

I read most of whats been said abt this topic and i totally agree Lately public servers are becoming a bit frustrating due to the almost abscence of teamwork and communication You couls apend a lot of time calling for a rush only to find yourself only with 1-2 players actually joining... and this is frustrating.... u can call on team chat... team syrvey but no one responds bcz everyone has his own plan for the game Renx is a team game and a team always needs a leader Befor the vote team commander option was removed u could see the commander able to maintain some sort of plan-order-teamplay.... but nowadays just like i said befor its almost every man for himslef most of the time For those who played renx for a while now, the players with commader skills are well known and they actually know what to do So in my opinion it would be great if @yosh56 could bring it back to the game .... we really need it

  11. guys why don't u just use LINE u wont have to share phone numbers.... just create an account and share ur account ID much much easier and works jut like WhatsApp or any other messaging app
  12. tried it cleared cookies...history.....incognito.....resetting chrome.... deleting and reinstalling chrome..... no luck if there's no solution to it then..... MEH ill just stick to IE

  14. hello everyone well .... here we go I want to talk about the latest overwhelming use of aimbot in game... this is really stating to become very annoying especially getting headshot while jumping behind walls more then 10 times in a row or the sudden increase of headshot skills of a lot of players who finish up the match with a 150 kills/ 0 death and all other related unusual incidents that's been occurring a lot lately (IF SOMEONE SAYS ITS ALL SKILLS IM GONNA GO ALL BANANAS ON YO A**ES ) now I know that there is A COUPLE of skilled players and that's been acknowledged by everyone.... but FFS cmon.... a lot of new names with godlike skills (I play on an almost daily basis).... now I know there is this wise guys somewhere who will say that this is one of the pros with a different name..... I DNT THINK THIS IS THE CASE AND PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG I think by now every HONEST daily player knows that the currently abundance in aimboting in game is becoming very very frustrating... its so f**ked up joining a server with 60 people playing..... to see it all the sudden drop to 24 just because some a**hole somewhere decided to have fun by f**king everyone's game up I think most of u know what I'm talking about (those of you who play the game fair and square that is .... not those cheating bastards) this matter need to be addressed... and fast on several occasions, available mods ingame take action if a player is found to be cheating in any way.... but this is not stopping the problem from spreading a lot and u can see aimboter running wild everywhere (FEEL FREE TO CALL ME A CRY BABY .... I DNT GIVE A DAMN BUT THIS HAS TO STOP OR IT WILL RUIN THE GAME FOR EVERYONE ESPECIALLY ALL NEWCOMERS ) PS: Sry for the use of bad language every now and then... I get emotional sometime @Ryz agrees with what I'm saying (I think :P)
  15. hello ive been having a problem when using google chrome to log into my account on the RenX website when I use chrome I cant write any topic in forum, send messages, comment on threads or anything else..... all I can do is browse the different tabs this problem goes away when I log into my account from Internet explorer or firefox PS: I'm using Internet explorer right now to write this message) can you please advise thank u in advance best regards
  16. hello everyone I'm still new to this whole mapping thing but I will try my best this map will be the aftermath of Mission 10 NOD from tiberium sun and heres a little history: The Mammoth Mk. II prototype underwent testing at a GDI United Kingdom facility. Test targets included civilian construction, Wolverines , Mammoth tanks, and remote-piloted Orca fighters. The walker was put into production while still in development. Immature technology restricted deployment and sectors with Mk. II's could usually support only one at a time. The Mammoth Mk. II was first deployed in the GDI mission Destroy Prototype Facility where it shot down all of the Banshee aircraft and single-handedly reduced the facility to ruin. this is the basic map layout so like I said before, this will be the aftermath of the assault on the prototype facility, but unknowingly to NOD, GDI had a second prototype already built the prototype will be sitting in a destroyed GDI base (the one destroyed with the first offence).... a river will cut the map in half just like the original map layout. NOD and gdi will start on opposing sides from the river, the facility will be on the other side I REALLY WANT TO SEE THE MAMMOTH MKII IN ACTION, so I will try my best to make this map scale fit it as for spawning the mammoth.... it will be via capturable MCT somewhere near it (as soon as I find out how to do it ) i also want to make capturing the mammoth a bit challenging.... ( I dnt know if its possible to do) the compound will be heavily damaged after the first NOD assault, and the remaining defences will be malfunctioning, and will shoot at anyone who gets close enough (the aim of it is to prevent anyone from gaining an early advantage in the game by taking command of the mammoth too soon....... i really hope it can be done .... somehow) so far i did basic terrain features like river and some hills.... ive been working on modeling the facility containing the mammoth here are some screenshots of it the map is still in its early design stages... i got no materials or asses in yet besides this compound.... and I'm still a really nooby map maker this is a far shot of the surrounding area hope you guys like it i still have a lot to learn to make this one work..... hope i manage to pull it through PS: tx @TK0104 and @kenz3001 for your youtube videos.... they are coming in really handy and helpful
  17. well maybe allow CY to be used to place some temporary defenses .... just like mines they will have limits but they will cost more creds.... and they can only be placed by a team commander add to it what u guys said about repairing base automatically in a range between engis and techs/hotties..... even tho the way i see it this will cause some matches to go on almost forever in my opinion this will make rushes a bit harder if u are able to put lets say a guard tower in vulnerable spots.... these added defenses can be weaker than original defenses but im sure they will always come in handy maybe this will be a lot of work to do but in my opinion it will be a great add on to the game especially if we get the feeling that its mixing up a bit of tiberium sun with renegade now i know its not paying tribute to the original renegade... but hey we see orcas/titan/wolverine/tic tanc ...... etc come into play so why not be different in this way from the original renegade

  19. hey ren x devs first of all thank u a lot for an amazing game... u guys brought back my childhood memories playing C&C renegade....thank you so much now i have only been playing for a bit over 2 month now but ren x is becoming addictive a lot however i have a suggestion to make ( i looked up the forum and i didn't see it anywhere so i hope its not suggested already) what i want to suggest is some modifications to the roles of engi/hoties/tech... there is a game called team fortress ( im sure u guys should know abt it ) with similar characters classes like renx (more or less).... now in team fortress engis are able to build temporary defense structure ( automated turrets) as well as ammo dispenser .... it would be awesome if engis/tech/hoties can acquire such a role in renx as well..... especially regarding the dispenser unit because i find it a bit irritating having to travel back to base a long distance to recharge ..... on the other hand a temporary turret def unit will help a lot thank u a lot for taking the time to read this and good work on the game.... its unbelievable keep up the good work best regards ARCH-NEMESIS
